Most people's image of Jersey comes from taking the Turnpike into Newark.

Here in Hunterdon County, there're some towns that _feel_ a hundred miles away from the modern world, even though you're just a half-hour drive from suburbia.

It's a weird state. That's why we love it.

Plus, there are areas of Wharton and Byrne State Forest where the pine trees are SO dense, you'd need a flashlight if you decide to go off trail at noon time. :idea:
