The Nutty Professor.......with Jerry Lewis of course !
Dr. Strangelove , or how I learned to love the Bomb.
The best Don Knotts stuff......Shakiest gun in the west , Ghost and
Mr. Chicken and The Reluctant Astronaut is a trilogy of piss your pants funny.....though The Incredible Mr. Limpet could replace any of the above on this list.
The Coen ? Cohen brothers rule W/ Raising Arizona , The Big Lebowski and Fargo being another piss your pants funny trilogy.
Monty Python 's Meaning of Life is a hoot too.
Wallace and Grommet in the 1/2 hr. shorts are hilarious....the full length feature Curse of the Were Rabbit was good , but not Nick Parks' best work I.M.O. Find a copy of " The Wrong Trousers " and see what I mean.
And of course , I don't know anybody who didn't laugh their balls off when Old Yeller died.

There's a bunch of good ones listed. Some of the ones that made me laugh hardest, at least the first time I saw them were (in no particular order):

- Ace Bigolo, Male Gigolo (first one, second one SUCKS)
- Austin Powers
- Fifth Element
- The Jerk
- Monty Python Holy Grail & Meaning of Life
- misc 3 Stooges stuff
- Wayne's World (party on, dude... and the scene where they are banging their heads in the car to Queen. I grew up with those dudes.)
- Fast Time at Ridgemont High (Dude! That was my SKULL! - Make up your mind, dude, is he gonna shit, or is he gonna kill us? ...First, he gonna SHIT! Then he gonna KILL US!)

I rented (Netflix) the Ghost and Mr. Chicken last Halloween because my wife had never seen it. It was actually on a two-sided DVD with the Reluctant Astronaut on the flip side. She didn't even put it in the DVD player until November. It took her three nights to watch because she kept falling asleep, and she sent it back without watching the flip side. She just didn't get it. :idunno: Grounds for divorce?

I'd keep a close eye on her if I were you ! Could it be the fact that you might enjoy it , so there is no possible way she could ?
I get that at home sometimes.
That's how the three stooges are recieved at the casa.......and while I'll be the first to admit , the Shemp and Curly Joe stuff isn't in the same league as the Moe & Curly Howard with Larry Fine material , it's still pretty fucking funny. :idunno: Go figure.

Spies Like Us, and there was this really good one, though I forget the title, It stars James Belushi and the late John Ritter (RIP) and Belushi is some sort of spy, and shows Ritter the ropes, forgot the name and never seen it in its entirety, but very funny.
