Eric, I have shipped a Bali to a APO with no problems. It was the very same as shipping US. Then the mail got sent abroad to the destination.
This was MY transaction, I hope you don't encounter a different response. Good luck, Glenn

I agree with Glenn on this one. Exactly as he said.
I've done the same with no problems. When I checked on it you are actually sending it to a US address and from there it is sent to the overseas base--as Glenn said. I've done the same with no problem.
I'm not a lawyer and am not offering legal advice, but, it would seem that if you are sending it to a service member, they would have the proper ID required to receive and possess a Bali or Auto. YMMV

Careful, APO AE (Europe) port is NY. And I think there laws apply on shipped goods. Would I chance it, heck yeah.

Well it is not going to Europe. It is going somewhere hot and dry.
I figured it would be fine. I bet alot of autos are sent through the APO.
Thanks for the help guys.

Done it ... not a problem... caused no problems... and was quicker than myself or the buyer ever thought it would be. ;)

Not always. Depends on the zip code. I sent to APO AE and it went through VA.

Sort of amazing huh? I got my amazon.com orders faster in a certain hot sandy country than I do in New York.
