I bought this from the HideAway site about 3 years ago for $235. At the time, there was a long wait after ordering (1year+). Someone else custom-ordered it and it didn't pay for it once it was ready, so I got it without having to wait. I believe Mick Strider has said there will not any more of these made.
It has been carried a lot, but used little. The main thing is I reprofiled the edge to about 20* per side. I figured since it wouldn't see much use and the S30V can handle that angle, I'd just go for it.
The kydex that came with it is a little loose. I haven't been able to make it fall out by shaking it, but it will wobble a little. There are some kydex marks, and other than the sharpening, it is in like new condition. Stock black kydex sheath plus I have a removable coyote brown paracord and ballchain necklace to go with it.
I believe these were hand made by the collaborators, so it is unique in that sense. It came with a small mark near the winged-sword stamp that looks like "M" or "S".
Here are some photos showing part of the handle wrapped in braided fishing line. I took that off a while ago, now it is plain steel - as it came.
I do have the original package (stickers, ball chain, colors of paracord to wrap, a lifesaver), but I don't know where that is. I'll do my best to locate it and get it to you.
I also have 2 of the little pins called "sheath-sticks". They are the size of rivets on jeans, but these have the Strider logo on them. They are meant to hold the HAK under a collar or in a pocket, etc.
I think someone would get a kick out of this little guy, it really is pretty nasty in the hand.
I'll cover shipping to the ConUS. Would rather not ship overseas as I don't know import/export laws, but will learn if someone really wants it.
