OK, Dirk Pitt wanted more trivia questions, so here goes. Feel free to add to this because I've been having a hard time thinking of something that can't be googled.

What sniper rifle did Brad Pitt use in the movie "Spy Game"?

these are from the movie "Leon: The Professional"

"what weapon did Leon give to Matilda while she was in his apartment shortly after her family died?"

"what animal was living in Leon's kitchen?"

"What 'celebrity' does Matilda shoot for practice?"

I don't know any trivia but I know lots of riddles and jokes! Here's an easy one but you wouldn't believe how many people cannot get it!

Think of two coins that add up to 30 cents. One of them is NOT a nickel. What are the two coins?

Dang guys! I gotta go back and watch these too! I thought I was the trivia king....but I guess I'm the King of someplace not!

For some reason I think the pistol given to Matilda was a Ruger MKII suppressed....I just don't remember.

What was the rifle Billy Zane used in Sniper? I'll give you a hint...I built four of them for the movie while working for Heckler & Koch Inc.

Thanks for the trivia Oh Oh Seven!

The rifle Billy Zane used in "Sniper" was a Heckler and Koch MSG90.

Dirk Pitt
12-23-2004, 10:43 AM
Good guess 007, but the rifles were actually SR9T's. We had only imported a few MSG90's and not enough for the movie houses. Also the MSG90 is class III because of the pinned lower. The SR9's were easy to transfer. The movie was lame and no one noticed the rifle only the stupid electric fancy non-existant scope. We got a bunch of calls for the scope. In fact when I saw the movie, some guy behind me said "cool looking M16"
:hityou: :dammit:
No biggie, we've had plenty of our guns in the movies before and since...

B

007
12-23-2004, 10:04 PM
M16? Fuck some people are stupid. :hityou:

I had an argument with a guy in the lobby of the local movie theatre about the gun Mel Gibson used in Lethal Weapon. He swore it was a Desert Eagle. We were looking at a poster advertising the movie at the time. I asked him why it said Beretta on the side and he still wouldn't budge. :dammit:

Dirk Pitt
12-23-2004, 11:05 PM
Yup know what you mean. We had Mel's PSG1 in our "Grey Room" the room were all the cool stuff is kept for display. We also had a P7M7 in .45ACP meant for Miami Vice. When they wanted to change the Bren 10 we stepped in with the P7, but our president at the time wanted bigger billing on the show for the company. Michael Mann said get bent! So the used the Smith 645 instead.

Ah the useless junk I remember...wish I could sell it!
