Has anyone flipped either of these? I currently have a BM 42 and I have a Basilisk on the way but I was wondering if anyone has one of these balis. I am looking to probably order one or the other in the near future.

CAREFUL, fella. Intro first, then all the other shit.
The forum rules are clear about this. All you have to do is say 'hello' in the right place, and it's all good. Until then, the red might start flying quick.
Just watching your back.

I haven't handled either, but my understanding is that the Dalton designs are much more geared towards self defense weapons, and not as much for manipulation. Where as the Basilisk, (components made by Dalton, designed by Jerry Hom), was designed to be the best flipper out there, at an affordable price. Not to say that the Daltons are poorly made knives or anything like that. Its just that, based on the designs, they just don't look like they would be all that good for flipping. That being said, if any one has actually flipped one of these, i'd love to hear what you think of it.

+1
wtf is wrong with search, why do ppl insist on under-utilizing poor search.. it only LIVES to serve you... why take away its only joy, its function, its purpose for being...
how selfish.

I am somewhat confused as to why you guys are blowing up on me over this. I already saw your review. It is a nice knife and I appreciate the review but there were 2 lines about flipping it. Also the knife is not a Wings or Scourge bali. I obviously understand that the review was not made for me but whats with the "USE SEARCH YOU NOOB" attitude. I did search and i didn't find any useful information other than those 2 lines in your review, thus necessitating the new post. Also I am pretty sure it is okay for me to see if there are other people who have flipped these bali's.
Just because I have <10 posts on this forum doesn't make me incompetent.

Uh...... back on topic, I have a wings as well as many other balisongs and I must say that the Wings, to me, is not a terribly good flipper.
That said, I personally feel that "a good flipper" is a fairly personal preference / individual taste kind of thing... I personally really like the 32 Morpho for a flipper (and I know there are many who don't like the 32 as a flipper)
That said as well, I love my 42 as a flipper as well (but for different reasons all together) in comparison to the 32. I love the 32 for the weight (or lack there of) it doesn't hurt my fingers nearly as much with rather lengthy flipping sessions. Whereas I really love the feel of the 42's handles.
If any of the above makes any since to you I am glad and hoped that it helped you out a bit. The wings , to me , feels a bit "awkward" (if that makes any since).

is the weight just not ideal?, also do the "wings" get in the way? it seems like they would.

In my personal opinion the answer to both questions is yes and yes....
The bali is big and heavy (not fun to flip, as far as I am concerned) but again... it is all personal preference. If you like flipping a 32 than you prolly aren't going to like to flip the Dalton Wings...
