Whenever I see Ivory on a knife, gun, whatever (in this case Micarta), I think Doc Holliday. Don't really know why. A few suggestions (all bad):

Tombstone Special
Dirty Doc
Happy Holliday
Gambler's Ruin
MFS (Motherfuckin' Sweeeeeet!!!)

Josh,

I can't tell from the perspective of the picture--does the Point Drop or Clip--or--is the spine straight to the point?

Mike........................

Mike, the point does drop, and the blade is angled down , not straight with the handle.

Thanks everybody, sounds like some pretty good names.

Josh,

The knife would be very good for General Duty.

Both in the Field and for Defense.

Kind of a General Purpose Knife.

It's Versitile and would be Comfortable no matter how you hold it for use.

The Raised Spine gives good solid hold for Push Cutting and maximizing the Forward Leverage of the thumb.

In reverse grip--the drop of the blade acts to directly increase the Angle of Attack of the Cutting Edge.

The Smoothly Rounded Butt allows comfortable use of the knife as a field drill in Wood Working, Carving and Bushcraft Skills.

Take what I have said--add your own design concepts and use that info to help find a name that reflects your intended purpose of the Design.

Just the way I do it sometimes.

Thanks guys, there are a bunch of good names on here. Except for the one that Walking Man suggested :nana2: . We will have to get all of these down on a list and go through them. I think we will end up with several good names. Probably put some of those names back to use at a later time on a later model. Once again thanks for the help. Your guys Rock :roxxor:
