I will be making myself excercise some self control at the dinner table......there are just too many good cooks in our family for me to even try to help.
It will be standard Thanksgiving fare for us.......and lots of it.

Seems this year everyone is splitting to different parts of the country. I'm spending Thanksgiving at home staring at Clyde. He's gonna try his paw at cooking our 'Big Meal'. Probably be a plate of Alpo & Mighty Dog served over a crisp bed of Iams Mini chunks. And for dessert I think he's planning on having Pup-peroni sticks & bacon flavored Beggin' Strips. Oh yummy! I know we'll be taking a nap :snooze: after that fantastic meal then it's out for a walk to burn up those calories! :faint:

Well I have to work that night :teethgri:, so our crew decided to bring in turkey and stuff to eat on shift. I'm bringing the bread for our sandwiches and possibly a pie or two. It should be all right.

First of all.. Give Clyde some Damn Turkey!! he deserves it. Second, I usually cook all of the dinners. This year, with the wife out of town for 3 months and me raising two kids by my lonesome, I got off with only making the Appetizers. Stuffed mushrooms, 2 kinds. Crab stuffed and blue Cheese stuffed. Just awesome. P.M. For the recipe.. You will impress your family and friends. :-D

Ms. Pumpkin,
The turkey is currently marinating in a Guinness bath (18 bottles), along with 1/2 gallon of cider, a few cups of brown sugar, a few more cups of kosher salt, along with some cinnamon sticks and peppercorns. In about 24 hours the bird will be roasted with copious brushings of the marinade. The rest of the feast is up to the redhead, but I'll probably make a sweet potato pie as well.
My ol' pal Wally will be eagerly awaiting any table scraps the dog refuses while watching reruns of Gilligans Island on his 5" B&W tv in his dumpster behind K-Mart.
Best regards,
Bonz
That Wally is a lucky guy, you spoil him. :-D

I'm making a trip to the Mom in laws house for dinner.
I'm making myself about 10 Jacks on the rocks.
I'm making my wife drive home.
I'm making sloppy love to my wife later.
I'm making a lot on Thanksgiving. :-D
