I know very little about this watch. It's a wind up jobber, and I'm not the kinda guy who has the dedication for one of these, THAT I DO know.
It glows,...uhm...no band....
It works, but may NEED work. Finding the date again if you miss a few days of winding is a BITCH. ( Have an auto winder?)
It's HEAVY but I don't think it's Gold?

Hello from Russia! :devil1:
We call them "commander's watch". It was made before 1991. Auto winder? Hmm... Maybe, maybe... Swing watch a few times. If you'll hear spring sound inside it means your watch have auto winder.
p.s. it's not from gold, sure :schmoove:

When I say "auto winder" I just mean a small tool with batteries that you apply to the stem to do the winding so you don't have to twist the tiny knob 50,000 times to get the correct day.

Wow... Didn't think you mean THAT. :)
You should untwist the head, pull it and turn it. This watches have 2 or 3 steps when you pull the head and each step cause different action. One of steps change date, don't remember which of them. Also try clockwise or counterclockwise turning. Hope you understand my description.

I bought one of these watches in Nizhnavartosk in '92 but I lost it somewhere in a move.
