Didn't know what the hell to post for my first here, so I figure I'll start at the top of my collection and work my way down. I only collect FB's, and all, except one, were workers that I EDC'd before semi-retiring them.

#1 Gil Hibben Tanto Survival. History: This was given to me as an engagement present in the mid '80's. Lost the girl, kept the knife. EDC'd it on the job, until I heard that the only other example, Gil sold to Sylvester Stallone. Still in great shape! Oh... yeah, 9.5" blade. 440C functional double row serrations.

Hi Bladewolf, I have a few fixed blades but the bulk of my collection consists of pockets, larger folders, and multi-tools.

You probably figured out already, Raoul... FB = fixed blade.

Very nice weapon you have there, Bladewolf. It have anything to do with why the engagement didn't lead to marriage? Oh, and welcome to JD!

Welcome to the JD Forum Bladewolf,

Great to have you here.

If that is the one that Sly had--I have seen it before.

I think that Gil had it at the Cal. Custom Knife Show and Sly bought it from him there or picked it up there.

Didn't think Sly would have parted with it.

Wow, thank you all for the kind words and welcomes. As for the engagement, let's just say it's a good thing she gave me the knife, and I gave her the ring.
If I'd given her the knife, it would have probably ended up in my back.
