I hope she is O.K. and will be back dishing out premium grindage.....when you find a connection for such and it disappears....it is a bitter pill indeed.
We had a corner drugstore that had the best ice cream on the planet at their soda fountain.........the ice cream and stuff didn't pay the bills and they couldn't compete with the larger national chains for drugs and what have yous.
I can score scripts anywhere , but I can't find an ice cream that would hold a candle to their strawberry cheese cake.
A waitress explained the difference to me once...said it was the secret ingredient.....love......that made their goodies so much better than anyone elses.
I can't cook and largely have a heart full of hate , so I cannot attest to the veracity of that claim.
But I know good ice cream when I taste it and damnit , I miss it.
