Hey now:

I am unsure if any of you good people have run across this site, but I wanted to warn you that Jason, who is apparently the owner of this shoddy operation is one person to steer way clear of....

I have been contacted by a long time client and he recently informed me that he had ordered 10 Smith & Wesson knives, paid up front for them, and is getting the Royal Run Around, trying to get either his knives that he paid for, or his money refunded...... This client also told me that he has even contacted Jason by email and also by telephone, only to have him hang up on him...He has heard all kinds of different stories, and none of the excuses are panning out, and he is still left holding the bag......

My friend and client is a blue collar man, and works hard for his money like most do, and is extremely upset about how he is being treated over this whole matter.......and I told him that I would make others aware, who may fall into a similar situation.........I also have to ad, that I had one, and only on dealing with this dude Jason, and that was plenty for me.......very shoddy operation, poor customer relations, very hard to get a response from......so my suggestion would be to stay completely clear of this guy....:punish: :firedevil :punish: :firedevil :punish: :firedevil

Yup, that is the individual in question.... The gent trying to get his bucks back, is not too computer savvy, otherwise I would invite him to join and share his story himself.... I trust this guy, and usually when he tells me something, you can bank on it being right on the money....I just thought it was worth mentioning, so others hopefully don't get stung too....

Thx for moving it here, and my appologies for posting where I did...I am still a little green here......

Isn't there some kind of way of red flagging these types of guys and their websites ? Because I had a similiar experience with an internet knife store about a year ago. It took them damn near 2 months to send me what I'd ordered. The official excuse was that the guy in charge was having personal probs so overwelming he couldn't go to work and ship a few boxes off to their addresses (because he was in so much anguish I reckon :spuf: ) and that alot of orders were cancelled and things like that. I honestly didn't know what to believe at the time because I'd never run into that, but I did threaten them by mentioning going to the BBB (it turns out they've already been red flagged by the BBB, though, prompting me to never do buisness with them again.) Wish there was a way to get to expose these guys for the dooshbags they are :eekfinger .

Yes there is!
I think it is important to put your complaints in a related forum,so that other people, who are about to order a product from that specific maker/shop and use the various "search-functions" present in the forums, will be aware of the situation!!!

The only way we can know in advance that something stinks,is when you tell us!!!:biggthum:

I bought a couple of italians from Jason a couple of months ago. Shipping took a little long, but I'm impatient when I order a new knife. Other then needing to tap on a pin to tighten things up a bit on one things went pretty smooth...

Let me start out by saying I usually don't "blog", but when a link comes up in a search with my company name.....I feel that I need to speak my peace. The "individual" with whom this situation generates from was completely out of line. I sold him a very inexpensive 10 pack of SW53 S.W.A.T. auto conversions. Ok, he ordered the knives, the order was mistakenly overlooked when shipping was done and order was filed away as "shipped". OK, this guy calls and asks a few days later if they were shipped. He was told yes as it appeared it was and we no longer had an order sheet. Long story short, a couple more days later he is calling day and night, leaving obscene and somewhat threatening messages. We had been away for 4 days. A perk of being a business owner. By the time we got back, this kid needed valium. He was HYSTERICAL. This stuff happens once in a while. With the THOUSANDS, I repeat THOUSANDS, of customers we have provided knives to over the last year, I have never experienced such horrific behavior. HE WAS NEVER HUNG UP ON. He was told we would look into what happened. We did figure out the error. He was so disrespectful to my wife on the phone, that he was told he would be refunded his money and would not be receiving the knives any longer. We do not need this type of customer. Everyone makes mistakes. But his behavior was completely unacceptable. He was refunded his money the following day and he continued to harrass us asking where his money was. He was told the charge back had been done and it was now out of our hands. He was told never to call our business again. It takes a couple of days for money to charge back. It is not instant as far as I know. So that is the story. I do not even need to mention the person"s name or slander him as I myself by full name have been slandered. I have a beautiful family, have a thriving business and have better things to do than deal with children. I have one of my own. Anyone can retort to their heart's content. Thanks for listening. Oh by the way, I have the best prices on the internet!!!

Hobbyists are some irritable, whiny and strange little fuckers who often go completely off the wall for the most mundane stuff. Most of them either live alone or rarely spend time with their family because they're either engaged in their hobby or perusing yahoo chats for webcam poonani, while offering views of them pulling the shriveled old-man pork on their own webcam. My mom works for a ham radio company and she can tell you all about that kind of shit...customers calling and being EXTREMELY pissed and threatening to come shoot the place because they changed the color scheme on a case they manufacture.

Nothing says " cut it out , fuck head " quite like a good old fashioned ass kicking.
And Karma often dictates who is just.
What I propose is this......a cage match between vendor and customer.
Pay per view......do it in Nevada so we can get a little wagering going.
House will get a cut of the action to offset the staggering bar tab we will inevitably run up.
And no matter who wins , we get paid.
No ?
O.K. , how about this....we get a reputable knife dealer.....we got a couple of those......they do the Donald Trump thing and sit before a room full of pissed off dealers and customers and embarass them on national T.V. ( we have no shortage of either of these ) for eight weeks or so until there is only one left.
Don't think it'll sell ? Try the W.B.
I didn't think The Apprentice would last through the first commercial break , so go figure.
What does this have to do with the dilemma that started this whole ball rolling ?
How the hell should I know ?
Sounds like someone either got fucked or someone had a shitty dealing with a customer. In a word.......misery.
I'm just trying to figure a way to profit from it.
Capitalism at it's finest ! God Bless America !

I have asked for a refund since Sep 13. Sent emails to Jason Saakes, Giselle, customer service.. No reply. They have never replied a single email - which is darn scary.

Just managed to chat online-itself an achievement as this was also not easy to do. Asked them again for a refund.

My advice: if my customer experience is anything to go by, caveat emptor.

Yeah...this place blows. I still haven't heard anything from them. I hope the economic downturn takes this place down. During these times if anything you should be looking to make your customers as happy as you can. I don't wish bad on anyone...but this place earns it if they go down. Waaaay to many other options to waste your time here. I'm contacting my bank tomorrow and doing a charge back on my card. Not even going to waste my time calling them. Here's my story on this company:

I ordered a knife on 11/26. Although Knives4Wholesale wasted no time in processing my order on the 27th, to this day, nearly a month later I still have not received my order... despite their promises that it was being 'shipped out today' and that 'you'll receive an email' to that regard. Rarely do they actually answer their phone. They never returned my phone calls and never replied to my emails. I finally was able to reach someone on the phone and then online and despite their assurances that the product would be shipped... alas... it never was.

Unlike the irate customer mentioned below I will not stoop to calling them names or harassing them. I did however call my credit card company and filed an official dispute... which means that A) I not have to pay for this item and B) Knives4Wholesale will have to repay their own bank back the money they took from mine. Now the banks will handle it.

Sad to say that this was supposed to be a Christmas present. Oh... those folks kept promising me on the phone (when they finally picked it up) that I'd have it in plenty of time. Fat chance.

Unfortunately I'm not alone. There are many folks on the internet who are just as angry as myself with this irresponsible company. Folks.. be forewarned before doing ANY business with them.

I INVITE this Jason to respond to this. By the way Jason, my name is Toby Walker. I'm sure you and/or your wife will recognize my name from my Polite unanswered phone messages and emails.

I really wish I read this forum before I placed an order...I realize that I haven't been waiting as long as almost all of you but, at least I know I'm not the only one who has been getting the run around. The only plus is knowing what I can expect from the operator of this website.
I have called a number of times to immediately get the answering machine spitting out some bull about calling during business hours when it clearly is business hours and to leave a message. Well after getting sick of calling and leaving messages and emails and hoping to see the sites online chat working which I still have never seen actually "ONLINE", so today I contacting my credit card company and having my order canceled.

On a slightly side note after doing a little research of my own and using some found by others, the BBB has recieved a number of complaints from his site and that lovely wife of his which someone who was disrespectful to on the phone (which I doubt), I wonder if that is the same woman he went to jail for abusing a few years ago? If the customer was disrespectful to her on the phone because their order was never received at least he didn't hit her.

I placed an order with them on 17 Dec. The money was taken out of my account on 18 Dec. The order was for (3) Boker Damascus blade knives. 2 of one model and 1 of another. These were to be Christmas gifts for my Sons-in-law. I was told they would be there in plenty of time for Christmas. On Dec 23 I started getting nervous about the order so I called and was told that the knives were being shipped from the manufacturer.
On Dec 26 the single model arrived. I have sent them many emails, all unanswered. I call them everyday with no answer, my phone messages go unreturned. This company has had 13 complaints with the BBB in the past year. I guess I'm lucky in that I got a third of my order.

I vote that a mass ass-beating is in order. :bashyou::pugalist::asskick::banhammer

So far I have placed 3 orders with Knives4Wholesale. The first order arrived about a month after I ordered it and half of it was missing (on back order). About a month later, I got the rest of my order. My emails were returned promptly on this order.

The second order I placed had arrived about 24 days after placement. The odd thing about it was that they didn't even charge my credit card until about 10 days after the order was placed. Again, when I received the order, knives were missing on back order and about a month later, I got them. When the remainder of my order came, the lady at the post office yelled at me because one of the OTF switchblades sprung and slashed right thru the box, almost cutting one of the postal employees during transit. When I came to the post office to pick it up, the lady snapped at me "have you any idea what is in that box of yours". I replied "computer parts" (as I was expecting some computer parts as well). She immediately sneered at me and said, no, try switchblades which almost stabbed one of my employees while they were handling the box. She then went on to say that I needed to tell the shipper never to use USPS to send knives again and that I was lucky to be getting my package at all. My emails were returned promptly on this order. They still use USPS though!

The third order was placed on December 11. I received the order on January 3rd and about 20% of it was missing on back order. Today the rest of it arrived 1/24/12. No emails or phone calls were answered on this order, so I am somewhat elated that the rest of my order actually came.

My conclusion is that Jason is no thief, however, he is a slow shipper or is perhaps very short handed. It seems that the worst experience I had with him was around the Christmas holiday. I can imagine I am not the only one who wants good knives cheap around the holidays, and a small staff can likely only handle so much. It would have been nice if my emails and phone calls would have been returned in a prompt manner. While the service is below average, the prices are good, and I did eventually get all of the product that I ordered on all three orders. If you order from Knives4Wholesale, be prepared to wait a while for your product. I guess the novelty of getting great knives at ridiculously low prices (to re-sell and make a bundle) does come with its drawbacks. If you need knives two months from now, order them today. That is the only advice I can give you when dealing with this company, other than if you want knives for Christmas, order them in October!

My ratings: Prices 10/10, Seleciton 9/10, Customer service 3/10, Shipping time 1/10.....(1 because they actually do arrive).

How do you get an OTF to fire while inside a box? If it's cushioned properly, there shouldn't be any impacts strong enough to overcoming the firing button. If it's a double action, hitting cardboard will cause it to misfire and fail to lockup, so there's no way it could penetrate a box.
