I am a deeply religious person myself. While I don't necessarily love the image in question, I am not going to get all offended by it. I suppose I had a guilty chuckle a bit about the overall concept of the image..... I had never thought about it that way before.

Trying to police the topic and concept of Religion is a difficult matter, and the truth is you can't really do it. It's a two way street, and the word would work better if we could all just try to tolerate each other a bit more.

In the end, this is a privately owned and operated forum, and as the word "Devil" is in the name of the place, we should all come here knowing that there may be a leaning away from the religious perspective. We all freely choose to participate here, and we are all free to go somewhere else if we get offended.

SoToo, I have concluded that I love Rudechuck and I think you seem like a decent guy yourself. Perhaps someday I will say that I love you too. Let's all just step back and take a deep breath. The JD is a great place to be.

As I said to Tubtar... the pic wasn't the only thing that bothered me. The concept of "NO religion" would work much easier if we didn't write anything pro or con about ANY religion. The myth of the Jersey Devil is what this forum is based on, and the myth is about a monster not Satan. If this forum were based on Satan... I wouldn't be a member. I realize that many lean that direction... but I hardly find cartoon devils a threat to my morals and beliefs. It has already been proven though... If I start putting down Buddha, Allah, or Krishna... somebody is going to jump in the middle of my shit... my posts will be deleted... and I would be reminded about the fucking rules. So what is the difference here?
