I have to believe that every forum has it's share of pissing matches and blow hards , know it alls , world's foremost authorities to guide the masses.
Hell , sometimes , they are right too.
But what I could not conceive of until today is that other forums handled the matter in as mature and considerate a manner as we here on the J.D.
The debate is to the community as old , tiresome and beaten up as the steel debate is here.
Big block or small block.
It gets tedious and there is no true correct answer.
But if you'll just scroll down to the tenth post , you'll see a level of genius rarely found outside these walls.
I wonder if he collects knives ?

Well, a true knife collector would have sorted that shit out long ago. Small block, big block, makes no fucking difference as long as you put stripes on the block. Dicks.

I was out with family & friends, made a fire next to the water, drank a few bottles of champagne & wine, barbeque, and cut some wood with my Bravo-1. I had 4 knives on me and 6 in the car but none of them had stripes though. The 4 I was carrying were however attached to a Dick.

From the automotive forum:

To cook Pork roast

pre-heat oven @ 400 degrees , when timer goes off
turn oven down to 275 and put roast in uncovered
season well ( I like natures seasoning made by Morton)

When heat gets down to 275 cover roast and cook it for about 25 minutes per lb when there is 1 hours 20 minutes left , toss on some equal sized potatoes and leave cover on, remove roaster and let sit for about 20 minutes , its perfect every time

side dish of favorite vegtable is your choice

pork roast recipe - another example of age and treachery overcoming youth and ability...

I know someone up in Anacortes, WA deep into MOPAR autos. I'll have to call Herb up and see if that was his doings - it sounds like what he would write...

of course there is the question: do you cook your pot roast in a small pot or big pot?

Clydetz

...and does it have bucket seats or a bench seat?

I knew some crazy fucks in Chicago back in the '80s who called themselves The Dead Pig Mothers. They made being obnoxious and pissing off tolerant people a lifestyle (kind of like teenagers). One of them, Pete "Plastic Jesus" Johnson, kept fish heads and fish guts in an aluminum foil roasting pan on top of the 318 Mopar engine in the '74 Dodge Coronet that he lived in.

I don't know how it would do with pot roast, but you could smell the fish cooking from a long way off!

And here I thought fish was a 'brain' food and supposed to be good for intelligence. I guess I have to chalk that up as an old wive's tale! :devil1:

I'm sure anybody out there who drove a big truck has cooked on the motor. There is a nice spot on a 3406cat behind the turbo, cooks fast there being turbo heat gets up there.

All I know is I had a '64 Chevy Impala Super Sport once,
with a slightly tweaked 327ci putting out over 300hp,
and man, that throaty rumble made my nipples hard:madaddy:
It clocked at 144mph once, and while that was fun,and the cop had a huge smile of appreciation for my ride,I never pushed it harder.
I simply enjoyed the cruising, back and forth between Kamloops and Vancouver, usually galloping along at about 100mph.
The car seemed to like that pace just fine :ssmile:

I have to tell the truth ......... the last road truck I drove had a fridge and a microwave in the sleeper.
The days of heating lunch on the engine are over I think.
If it had cable T.V. , I could have lived in it.:devil1:

I remember sitting in traffic when this big truck driver jumps out and folds the hood down in the middle lane and you could see the fourwheelers panicing when he climbs out with something in aluminum foil. I was jealous/hungry.
