No name for this knife yet but we are closing in on one. Until the name is settled, I'm calling it a Rhino Whacker. It's on my 'available' page here:
http://www.mickleyknives.com/html/rhino_whacker.html
Here's the skinny on this one:
I haven’t any idea what to call this knife. It just happened. I had an odd piece of steel that I thought really needed to be used and this one came out from it. It is made from 154CM steel. The bottom edge is a recurve 8” hollow grind, the front edge is a 14” hollow grind. It’s mirrored all the way with a Ironwood scales for the handle. The blade is nearly 6” and the OAL is just under 10 1/2”. This will come with a zippered case. It is $325 shipped CONUS.

Thats a totally cool "outside the box" knife.

OTB for short
Odd tiny bastard? Oh...that's :ron:
I agree it's an odd piece of steel, but it turned out great. I guess it follows those thoughts of "start with a piece of metal and take away everything that does not look like a knife."
Nice catch :ron:

Mr. LaBella wanted a sheath. Mr. LaBella gets a sheath.
It will be a good knife retention device as he forages in the wilds of New Jersey.
