Spreading the word to over here. People complained about having their paypal account seized for making gun related transactions. A member of calguns.net has put up Gunpal.net.

Here is the thread announcing it.

What is GUNPAL?

GUNPAL is an alternative to PayPal™ that donates a portion of the proceeds from every transaction to a Non-Profit Organization of your choice. GUNPAL does not discriminate based on the nature of your transaction, requiring only that the merchandise or services you buy and sell be legal. See our User Agreement for more information. (PayPal™ is a Trademark of eBay, Inc.)

Op sticky please.

So far I know of 3 separate transactions carried out through GunPal and all went flawlessly. I’m not signed up (HYPOCRITE) but will as soon as my next transaction. You have to ask the other party to join of course and there may be overseas issues at this time. Not entirely sure of that outcome.

Sign up (I’m told is 5-10 minutes). This is a great idea to the ANTI-GUN BIGOTS at paypal. This is how it’s done. Shit, after this post I have to sign up now.

GunPal.net (https://www.gunpal.net/)

They use:
VeriSign EV SSL Certificate that you are using the genuine gunpal.net website and that all traffic is encrypted for your safety.

It was very easy to sign up and their fees are lower than paypals. The only thing I like about paypal is the gift ability and if you don't abuse it they don't charge you anything.

I have been reading quite a few articles/posts/blogs about gpal not paying and figured that it should be posted on our forum.

This link http://sailorcurt.blogspot.com/2010/09/gpal-update.html goes into detail.

I've been waiting for money to be transferred to my bank account since September 18. It's supposed to take up to 5 business days. It's been two months now folks and nothing.

Repeated emails to their support email and phone calls to their support line have gone unanswered.

They supposedly have a 24/7/365 support staff and have a commitment to answer all requests in 48 hours. Bull S&@t, I have not heard a peep since I first requested information about the transfer. That has been over a month and a half now.

GPal will not give you your own money. Do not use GPal!

What a bummer. I was kind of stoked about this as an alternative to Paypal. Paypal screwed me once and their customer service that is based in India couldn't help, go figure. Ever since I have not used Paypal.
