>Favorite Christmas Cookies

>1 cup of water
>2 tsp baking soda
>1 cup of sugar
>1 tsp salt
>1 cup of brown sugar
>Lemon juice
>4 large eggs
>1 cup nuts
>2 cups of dried fruit
>1 bottle Jose Cuervo Tequila

>Sample the Cuervo to check for quality.

>Take a large bowl, check the Cuervo again, to be sure it is of the

This one does seem to make it around every year, but it's still funny every year. It reminds me of my great-grandmother and her holiday Trifle exploits. Long story short this dessert has Sherry in it. The older and more senile she got, the more Sherry she put in. By the time the torch was officially passed to my grandmother, it was stout!! If lit, it would burn for days!!:cheers:
