Good link, but DAMN, the prices have gone up! I used to go burn CorBon 9 & 45 all day to the tune of about $300 but that would last me about an hour now!

FYI, Wal-mart even around here is now stocking at regular intervals Winchester White Box 9mm 115gr FMJ for $20.95, 100 rounds, and Federal 100-round boxes of .223 55gr for $39.95.
Are these as good as online? Maybe, maybe not. But they are right there, and local, if you need to feed those calibers.
Cash is the height of discretion as well.
Prices may not be coming back, but at least the ammo guys seem to be able to feed our boomsticks again to a degree.

"Winchester White Box 9mm 115gr FMJ "
Two of these in my stash meant for the indoor range, now thinking I should keep them with the rest of the goods. My WalMart seems to run out of pistol ammo as soon as it get's in. At least they're good for shampoo & deordant.

Stabber, not to step on your thread, but have you ever tried...
www.ammoman.com (http://www.ammoman.com) ? I've had pretty
good luck with them and he's always had the "what you see is what you pay" philosophy...ie No Shipping Charges. I like that.:cheesydevil:

Me too. Cases and cases of ammo at good prices. Ammoman has been a solid source for years.
Sportsman's Guide as directed by ammoengine is so overpriced even in good times. It's not so much their prices as their shipping. I have been quoted close to 50% of sales price. Cheaper then Dirt is good and I have purchased ammo from them for years but they too are way expensive on many ammo products. That's a weird place. Half the prices are great and the other half suck. So what, choice is good. CDNN requires a copy of your drivers license in advance. DO IT!! Even if you have no need for ammo now. One day their catalog will show up with exactly what you need at outrageous prices. Just a phone call at that point and it’s shipped. When they have what I want I will buy 2 or 3 cases and on one occasion 12 cases with 2 other guys.
Shoot em if ya got em. :honcho: :gunner:

I looked at ammoman, but 30.06 and .380 was sold out. They do have some pretty good deals on 9mm. They also seem to have a fairly limited selection, i.e. no .222, .270 Win., or .300 Savage. Other, cartridges that I am interested in.

Ammoman has suffered from the same thing as almost all ammo retailers. I've
gotten an email from him saying he just got in 2 trailers of pallets/ammo
and it would all be sold out in a day and a 1/2...sometimes faster. His supply is
getting better, but he's still having trouble getting what he ordered from the
manufacturer and when it comes in, the hoarders are buying it FAST. He does have
a storefront that he sells it through as well as the website.:madaddy:

Excellent. I am going to pass this on to some friends who are looking.
Now, if I could only find some .380 brass, I could actually reload for my sister. You wouldn't happen to have a "brass search engine" on hand would you?
