Do you guys know of any place I can grab some quality colored titanium hardware (Tri-Screws/GBs/Clips) for my Microtechs. I'm looking to get some for my Combat Troodons and QD Scarabs. I PMd the guy that used to sell them here on the JD but he no longer has any. If you guys know where I can score some please post it here. Something about those Torx bits on my Combat Troodon that just bothers me!

I'll have to wait on that one. I've been waiting to get access there for months! As soon as I get it I'll check it out. I appreciate the hook up...and so do my Microtechs.

For the life of me I will never understand this line of thinking. Hvae you tried emailing THEM? I am just saying. There are some members of both forums, but we have NO control over anyone's account THERE. :decisions

I have the same problem, can't view anything can't post anything. As far as I can see there is no way to contact anyone on that forum if your "Awaiting Authorisation".
I have the same problem can't view anything can't post anything. As far as I can see there is no way to contact anyone on that forum unless you've been "Awaiting Authorisation" for about nine years! The way they spell Authorisation has gotta tell you something.
Curious? What does spelling the word correctly tell you...?
Due to all the new SPAM accounts plaguing the system over there, new members can't use a free email address for registration.

Isn't that proper English anyways? For what it is worth, that comes from the code, from the software developers....

I got lost in the "by the way, can someone from THIS forums send an email for me to someone from ANOTHER forum" business end of this conversation
Weird stuff that I never understood.

Hey, hey, hey, no cross-forum-communication bashing :cheesydevil:
If you do get in touch with autoelite about the screws Id ask about the diameter of the heads, the torx heads might be a hair smaller but I could be wrong(I could also be drunk-posting :devil1:)

Thanks guys. I tried Autoelite. He is currently out with no plan to renew his stock any time soon if I recall correctly. I started with him...tried to keep it within the JD...its bad form to stray to other forums. Kind of like when people complain about the single sales thread rule. Its like coming into someone's house and saying dude your carpets are shit...you mind getting a nice brown shag for the next time I come over. I dig the one sales thread thing. Lets you follow a guy who sells the stuff you dig.
I'm going to hit up that other guy. I'll let you know what I find out.
Thanks for the help guys.

Thanks for the reference. My shop has been busy and I only do the Microtech and Strider stuff when I have free time. All I have for Microtech parts (as of 8-2009) are:
Combat Troodon titanium 3 hole tri screws.
Combat Troodon titanium glass breakers.
A few of the smaller titanium glass breakers that fit Scarab, Ultratech, Makora and UT85/Daytona.
Here is a picture of a Combat Troodon tricked out with my titanium hardware:

well atleast he can hook you up with the combat troodon stuff you wanted. I would do it man. His stuff is top notch. The screws i have in my scarab are made by him. And i also had a glass breaker from him as well. Those combat troodon screws look like they would be a nice add on.

NICE! Maybe I didn't have my Combat Troodon yet and only asked you about the Scarab hardware. I DEFINITELY want that blue Combat Troodon gear...the tri-screws and the glassbreaker. I got your email also...I'll respond there and hopefully I can score some.
Thanks guys
