I saw this while at a truck stop , where their wireless didn't have the band width to allow for uninterrupted viewing.
I'm glad I returned for a second look once I got home.
This Dude is driving his ass off.
Pikes Peak is definitely a seed check for any driver.
Awesome vid.

Once he hits the dirt... it's game on.
You can see that his dirt and asphalt games are COMPLETELY different.
His tires and suspension were set up for dirt as it was the majority of the track but he was not breaking those tires loose on the road like he was on the street.
he is used to the rally shit anyway....
It's amazing how fast you can get a car going with 300 REAL horsepower to the wheels and NOT the CRANK hahahaha
not to mention gutting it and making the windows plastic... theres a MAJOR gain in power to weight ratio!
I've been in "outlaw" class cars (not driving) and GOD DAMN!!! :cheesydevil:
My fastest 1/4 was 12.4 in a 2005 C6 ZO6 and THAT was pretty fast... I can only imagine a 10.5 run... I've seen HONDA civics with B20T's and type R engines and 88 trim turbos almost in the 9's.....

I had to go to their web site to see what was what.
Davey Durelle , a local guy , is still king of the hill on a bike.
He is not a big guy.........damn near tiny.
He promoted a Camel Pro race in Mn. when I met him and he is not your stereotypical bike racer..........but a trip through the pits and any AMA pro flat track or TT event will show you that not many of them are.
You'd never suspect that they are absolute mad men on a bike when you meet them.
Robbie Unser is still the fastest in a car ( open wheel ) as of the 2008 event I think...............his family used to own the hill.
They even run semi tractors up that mother !
