I have one, it's awesome, and it ain't for sale....... for now......

I bought it when it was first offered. I use it for still hunting in the brush. Quick swing , open sights, quick target aquisition.

Do you have it scoped? Or do you use open sites? Thanks for the reply...

Bought mine last year with ported barrel.in the 45-70,Then one of my friends bought the same gun in the marlin 450.Its extreamly accurate.Drops deer in their tracks.Great bush gun.Just 36 inches long,,I highly recommend this gun .I prefer the ported version.less kick and a better shooter,But loud,,Personal thing i guess. My gun is pictured below.

open sights. I use in the brush. Need to be quick, no time for a scope.

Anybody catch the Outdoor Channel or The Sportsmen Channel tonight? One of the shooting shows was all about tactical Marlins...well lever guns actually. There were some seriously sweet lever guns in action. It was basically about the lever gun as an overlooked home defense tool.

A regular blued one goes for around $500.00 or so...The stainless is a bit above that NIB...
