View Full Version : H&K UCP
The UCP is a semi-automatic pistol with detachable magazine and polymer frame. Current prototypes feature a HK P2000-type grip with detachable backstraps of different size and configurations, and a Picatinny-type accessory rail under the barrel. The action of the gun is said to use some sort of retarded (or delayed) blowback system, but so far it is not known, if it is a roller-delayed blowback, as in HK P9s pistol, or a gas-delayed blowback, as in HK P7 pistol. The trigger unit in current UCP models is modular, and could be had in various configurations (DA/SA or DAO), with or without manual safeties. Standard magazine capacity is 20 rounds, and it is believed that the UCP will accept both 20- and 40-round magazines from HK MP7 PDW weapon.

Cool. Are these all in the prototype phase? And how do they differ from the USP. 007's post may have included that but perhaps I have had too many drinks already.
The site I saw that on says they are still in prototype and wasn't sure what locking mechanism was being used. :-D

Me likely. While the USP looks like a sport pistol or cop pistol, this thing looks like a hard-core combat pistol.

This gun is like a full size P2000, it's about the same length as a USP. It is designed to go along with their MP-7. It fires 4.6x30mm ammo and holds 20 rounds in the clip.

I'll be glad to learn you. This one looks like it has no external hammer so you can put your thumb on the back of the slide to retain your brass. :D Go for the torso, you will put them on the ground and then you can finish it later. I would bet that Bob is a better shot, he can probably eat pizza with one hand and shoot with the other.
Thanks for the tip! :punish:
