Great pics Dave! I'm personally not crazy about the scales, but that's just me. Does'nt take away from the fact that CRK makes one of the best folders money can buy.

I do have a dumb question though..... Why is it that Mr. Reeve insist on puting the smooth screw heads on the wrong side. ;-)

Okay ... why are the screws seen to be on the wrong side?

(Never seen a CRK in person here so I really don't know.)

Wes,

Some think the smooth side of the screw (well the 'nut' actually) should be facing the inlay side. Whereas now, they all come with the screw 'head' (and hence the 'hole') facing the inlay or graphic side.

Not a big deal to me, but some have strong feelings on the matter.

I don't think it's that big of a deal, but I have always felt that the left side of the knife is the presentation side (for right handers) and it looks better with a more finished appearance.

It's easy enough to flip them, so it isn't that annoying to me.

That's pretty interesting with the screw idea. I know I've seen it come up again and again.

Can someone post a before and after picture with the screws both ways?
