Derespina Knives

Making space in the shop and getting rid of the baggage. This is one of the first 3 knives I ever made about 10 years ago. Yes, 10 years ago I was trying to make Karambits from scratch.
This is 3/16" BG 42 steel that is very lightly hollow ground with a Multi tool. All the grooves and such were hand filed and dremeled.
It is a sorta drop point style and is actually quite comfy in the hand as I have always experimented with ergos.
Black G10 scales, ground and textured. With Stainless 1/8" pins.
Comes with Kydex sheath as well.
I couldnt really make knives back then and was totally shocked at how good it came out. Now in comparisson to what i now do it is very primative. This has been a shop knife for all that time and is VERY WELL USED! It shows marks, etc and has some scuffing. This is a good user EDC knife and is still quite sharp. I also found out how sharp about 6 years ago with 8 stitches into my palm but thats another story.
The grind is imperfect looking but this knife functions as a knife should. The feel and carry makes this a good SD knife as well.
If I made this now it would be $325. Instead, you get it now for just $OLD!!!!
As well, BG42 is pretty much obsolete but why I do not know, it is an amazing steel and what CRK used to use for their knives. I wish I had more of it.
7 3/8" OAL
3" blade.
Thanks for looking.
