I'm perfectly happy with pretty much any food...
today had to satisfy a craving... chopped a steak into strips, marinaded in original Bullseye, fried up onion and mushroom, fried the meat to about medium, warmed the sauce up with a garlic chili sauce, and warmed up the pasta from yesterday...
only ate 1/2 of what I made... ate 3hrs ago and my stomach is still fighting back.
I'm a carb fiend if I'm not looking for any thing. yesterday was about 200grams(dry weight) of fettechini with an italian sausage & basil sauce. Cooked up most of the 500gram bag.

I would have to say cheeseburgers and fries. I am all for pasta dishes and all but nothing beats a good burger. I don't use any of that store bought pre-made crap either. Fresh ground chuck is the way to go. Medium well on a pre-heated grill. Top it with double American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, bacon, and a nice side of thick cut fries (dipped in mustard) and a cold beer. Heaven in a bun!!! :-D

My favorite has always been yellow Spam jelly with raw grade school paste spread over communion wafers, garnished with diced mothballs and sauteed in liquid LSD, then armpit warmed until tepid, served with Sterno/cough syrup Chablis.
Yummy !

Mr. Corpse,
Spam jelly? Hmmm...., I prefer the remnants of Vienna sausage glutamate mixed with left-over pickled Norweigan mustard herring bones, ala Alaskan King Crab gills & various innards. As with any seafood, I like my Sushi raw, and, in Yoko's case, shaved. Nothing like a slippery Japanese taco, eh!
Best regards,

Greetings, Mr. Doofus Emeritus-
Hmmm.... glutamate,'eh ? Izzat what those lil' non-chewable kinda rubbery tasteless chunks in sausages are called ? Those are my favorite too. After the AARP weakly Sunday brunch at Denny's next to the K-Mart wherein my luxury condo/dumpster is parked, it's always a footrace with the limp and gimp work furlough squad to be first into the grease sodden boxes of couldn't quite denture chew the alleged sausages remnants. After a few years experience under your belt like me, it's easy to spot a diamond in the rough, or in this case, one of those glutamate chew resistant flavored animal cartilage plugs gakked up by some feeble gummer granny. Yummy. Of course, being such a popular treat, akin to toad caviar in value, you have to hoard and save up those lil' glutamates until you have enough for a proper repast. Fortuneately, the accompanying staple garnish item, ancient hag spittle soaked lipstick embalmed muffin crusts, are fairly plentiful, especially if you work in a team, with the disposable assistant patrolling in front of the windowed booths, and regularly flaunting his unique, yet mildly disturbing results of his gender change at home surgery kit foray. Always good for a round of granny regurgitation, and soon to be the appetizer for the truly gourmets, here in the dumpster behind K-Mart, Spastic, Fornicalia.
AS ever,
Your ol' pal,
Wally J. Corpse
P.S. I don't mean to discredit the fine meal of horseradish soaked pipe cleaners you served me last 4th of July. Next year I want more of that crunchy under fridge lint garnish please...

The fridge is ready for its semi-centennial coat hanger treatment. Of course the Coors is on the house, and there's nothing more amusing than to sit in my lawn chair in the kitchen watching the dog drool in your ear while your wooden eyeball does the yo-yo off the Coors encrusted floor. Did the swing arrive today?

That's funny. I've got one like that...
While my girlfriend and I were vacationing in London she fell in love with CURRY flavored Pringles. (The chips in the can.) Well, they don't have them here in the US. (Curry is like the national food of England oddly enough.) She even wrote to the company and they said "Sorry! No can do!" She was bummed.
Well, I made this friend in England on a knife forum... I managed to persuade him (after considerable monetary lubrication) to purchase a CASE of them (18 cans) and ship them to me. First we arranged a "test package" of 2 cans first to see if they would make it through Customs. Then he shipped the case to my office...
I wrapped the case and gave it to my girlfriend for Xmas. She cried like I'd given her a diamond ring. I think she was touched by the considerable thought and effort I put into it just to have a lifetime supply of her favorite snack food shipped all the way from England.
As for me...
CHIPOTLE!

Mr. Fulloflead,
Ah! Pain is good! Try chipotle rub on beer can chicken. Rub it real good with kosher salt and chipotle making sure you get it under the skin.
My favorite food is Mexican locust burrito's (with legs removed of course) complete with live locust bug juice salsa. You might have to hike a ways up in the Sierra Madre to find the particular cantina, but the homemade cervesa makes the meal really sweet.

Naw. I mean the Chipotle Restaurant (kinda fast food joint) that makes Burritos as big as your head! They do it Subway style where you can pick and choose through the glass screen what you want on it. And YES, you can make 'em as hot as you want!

Some of the finest things in life come off the grill medium rare.
All this nonsense about smothering with this or that is obscene.....a good cut of beef needs nothing but a knife and fork.
18 to 24 ounces of porterhouse and the sides blur into the background.
It could be fries or baked....asparagus is nice .....some bread product ( Texas toast grilled is #1 ) and here you have a meal that makes me enjoy the feeling of my arteries hardening.
Shit , now I am hungry !

Not that this is entirely related, but I can't wait for my burger to be done! It has Montreal steak seasonings and Worcestershire sauce in it and I basted it with chipotle hot sauce and Worcestershire sauce! It's going to be so good!

The beer and pizza combo meal is by far my favorite with maybe once in awhile some frozen Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and Skittles when I'm really feeling it for dessert. All from the comfort of my own bed!:ropeman:
