Finally picked up something in black to complete the ensemble. Gold, grey, silver Buck 560's and now the 'elusive' black... with a difference!

You have gone tactical. I like the way the holes in the blade flow with the indents in the handle. Where they factory or aftermarket mods?

... We're they factory or aftermarket mods? The collector I bought it from had 4 of them (the only 4 he has ever seen!) He sold a gold one on e-bay and now has 2 grey ones of which he is keeping one for himself. My 3 560's blades are stamped with 560 and dated 2001. This new 560 has a 110 blade dated 2003 plus has no nail nick. Still have to do some research on this one!

Frankenstein roolz! I got 2 oddball 560's now... the grey one is an auto conversion... haven't seen many of those (I've only heard of 3).

I'm amazed, Clydetz. I've never seen a knife with holes like that in the blade. Too cool!
