I never posted here originally about this but a couple months ago my wife applied for her concealed handgun permit and was denied b/c of an arrest 6 years ago for a violent crime but she was never even formally charged or convicted. Just arrested and released.

So she filed an appeal and today was her court date. She won!!!! :FU:


Now she just waits for her letter and goes to the sheriff's office to pick up her permit. The deputy at the hearing was pissed. LOL :dont:

The good guys finally prevail!!! Well the Mrs. BadGuy anyway :hatsoff:

I took off the morning to watch the kids while she went to court, when she returned with the good news I called in work and took the afternoon off as well and am now getting drunk to celebrate. So prepare for some crazy posting:fonz:

I'm glad this finally got straightened out. I know y'all have been waiting on this for a while. Good job!

Sometimes the system works....slowly, but it does work if you give it a chance. :punish:

Of course you should not have had to go through the hoops.....but still glad it all worked out.

She wants a compact Kimber 45 of some sort for the range and a Kel-Tec, Khar or something along those lines for a small purse gun

I like the kimber or Kahr in .40 full sized for her Big Boy and the P-32 over the P3at BIG time! please , frankly have had great success w/ the P-11 as well. Enjoy and best to you both. based on her choices shes NOT glock friendly have her check out the Sig. line as well, slim, decocker, great trigger etc!...real class sir.
