:tgif:

Had some pretty productive shop time this week and was able to finish or almost finish a few for some folks that have been waiting a while.

First up....the very first mob blade in stainless. The FOS in CPM154 w/red and black G10, big 5/16 thong hole tubing, and the hybrid sheath. I put this one together then blasted and tumbled the complete knife scales and all. It gave the grooved g10 a real nice finish without losing the grippiness. I really like the way these CPM blades are coming out and will be using it on a regular basis going forward.

Finished up some kiridashis and a small stout tanto made out of the left over pieces of D2 from my last batch. Paracord underwrap with epoxy soaked cotton ito. These are all double hollow ground (as opposed to chizel).

I've also been real happy with the D2 blades. They been taking and holding a wicked good edge.

Black ito with red paracord underwrap in 3/16's cryo'd D2...

Thanks. I work on them in between orders. Turn around depends on what stage I'm on when someone orders one.

Cool. Glad it made it ok and most of all glad you like it (and glad I FINALLY finished it). I like how the scales feel on yours. I gave them a quick bead blast after I sculpted them. Nice and grippy.

Thank you sir.

OAL is around 8.25" about 4.25" of blade in 1/4" thick D2. Result of me practicing the Americanized tanto style on a scrap piece of D2. I love this style of tanto but am just now getting where I feel comfortable grinding them. I am real happy with how this one came out.
