Did you build the derringer or did it come assembled? And what is the recoil like. and does it take 3" shells?

BoerBoelGuy

.410 came fully assembled from local FFl CHEAP, Just did the Internal Polishing rebuild and refinishing myself. re and unloads now with just a flick of the wrist :gig: 2 3/4 inch shells only. Recoil is no more than a short barreled .44spl. IMHO VERY manageable.

Sweet shotguns and I confess I love them as well. I got to shoot a KAC Masterkey one time and it was awkward but as the name implies you have the keys to the city with it.

I found this looking for a pic of the Masterkey and it looks hot.

GOOD EYE man...actually Remington was licensed for a short period of time to reproduce the A-5 and Sweet 16 by browning....I felt those few yrs. of production yielded a bit more robust model....hence sought the rem. out over time as my host gun :-)

* Bad pic...Will get Much better pics up post refinsihing and its new Carry Rig up later but this girl can be a "Blast" as well, 6 Inch Tube 2+1 cap. :marty:

Sweet! Details please. How big of a blast? I would guess that there is a hell of a lot of burning powder at the end of the barrel, wow.

You would be suprised HOW handy this pup is. While the full house loads can be shot w/o hitch I opt for Reduced Recoil 00 Buck and Reduced recoil Slugs.
I Can get three shot strings off fairly quickly . I take most of the kick with the front hand and anchor/guide with the rear. As mentioned its more the Flash thats a killer indoors  Enjoy
