I just scored one of Brock's Combat Options Recurve knife's from another JD member on this forum. It looks like a beauty and I've heard nothing but good things about these blades. The warranty sounds as good as Strider's and Busse's so I think I can't go wrong. Man, there have been some killer deals out there lately and I've been itching for a Brock for awhile.

Hey Brock, is it true you only made four of these blades?

Yessir, that's true

and there were some slight differences in grinding them. Some had a deep hollow grind and some were a little more shallow grind

then there was the Slinger, which is basically a Combat Options recurve with a slightly longer blade and a Street Warrior swedge on it

congrats, you got a good deal on that knife

Do you remember if the swedge is sharp or not on this one?

That was a sweet score man! If I was not stuck at work, it would have been mine...

But I got the Slinger...I'll just have to be happy with that for now... :)

no, the one you bought doesn't even have a swedge

Oh yeah...I just pulled my head out of my ass and looked at the picture, again. I must have had a brain fart. My mind must have wondered due to the MANY knife laws this great state has; one of which is NO sharpened swedges. Thanks for the understanding :wes:

ITS HERE!!!

Big thanks to ALH for the great deal and to Brock for making this wicked blade. The condition of the knife is better than I thought and the f&f is superb. Too bad I plan on using the hell out of this one:-p

As you wish.

Get a good look at her 'cause this is the last time she'll be this pretty.

:yeahthat:

Yep, get her dirty, that is what she is for.... The only reason mine is still clean is that I'm still deciding how to carry mine...

I like'em all for different reasons. The Brock is definately on the same quality and craftmanship level as these other knives. What the picture can't show is what a beast this knife is in-hand. It feels like it can pry open a car door. I got it mic'd @ .18".
