About once a week I get an email asking how to get ferro rods (http://www.usaknifemaker.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=69)to produce a good spark. There is a simple technique. I made a quick video to show how much spark these ferro rods can put out.

Just received my order of three 3/8" X 5" ferro rods.
