I was looking for a way to attach my SHBM sheath to my belt with out the bulk of a Tec-Loc. I find on these bigger knives the Tec-Loc leaves a lot of play, and also pulls on the belt. With this Paracord system the sheath pulls tight against the body and has less play, it feels much more secure. Plus I normally carry knives this big in a pack so the lack of a Tec-Loc makes for less bulk.
That's a good idea, I have found that with the tec-lock makes the knife ride so high that the handle sticks me in the ribs.

Nice set-up. Simple, low cost and it works great. Couldn't ask for more. Good work mate.

Doing that for a while, originally did it to carry a knife horizontally.

Great job bro
I personally hate tekloks...sit to high and cost to damn much
I'm with ya. My personal stuff always gets paracord or webbing loops. I hate Kydex belt loops and Tek-Loks myself. I've tried to explain the awesomeness of it to buyers, but nobody listens. :ropeman:

Thats the way I see it.
I'm a big fan of paracord and nylon web belt loops on my own stuff . They allow good indexing , with enuff horizontal and vertical play for comfort . They are also easy to adjust , repair or replace .
