I love working at a gun shop

So today I'm at work and a new shipment of guns comes in. It's Christmas in August!! I opened up the first box and what should I find but a Remington 870 Express with a synthetic stock, 18" barrel and a 7 round tube. :bow: I had planned to order that exact gun sometime next month to live under my bed in case of any unannounced 'visitors'. I tried to buy it today but the department head wasn't around to approve my discount so it's sitting in the back until tomorrow. Next on the list is the S&W 686-5 with a 5" barrel sitting on the used rack. It's had a custom trigger job that is fricking SICK along with a light gathering front sight post. Oh, and it holds 7 rounds of .357 magnum. :thumbsup:

The place I used to work in specialised in ex-mil and collectable weapons so we were able to see some really cool stuff

My Dad owned a gunshop from 67 to 90, we specialized in Pre-64 Model 70 Winchesters, and Lever action Winchesters. Sold all kinds of stuff also. I miss it. Now he is about to retire from the Wallyworld sporting goods department. I went on to HK then to CFI. I REALLY miss the good'ol gun shop days...
