My 200$ jetta is having a little moment i stalled it out at a stop and had to push it into a parking lot because it would not start up. the only way we got it to start was to pull it with my Dads truck and drop the clutch. but the battery was fine and we tried taping on the starter with a hammer and rocking the car back and forth nothing. So i took the starter out so i could test it and the motor drops 2-3 inches because the starter mount is also a motor mount? but now i have the motor propped up with a jack so it dose not stress it out. any idea what to do now?

Well my Dad got me a new starter so my car is probably fixed. But Bad news i still have to pay for it it will go in tomorrow.
