This is my new Slimline folder, you might have already seen the four inch version in the backround, been carrying that one for awhile now and like it so far.Good lightweight summer carry knife compared to my normal thick stuff. The green handle knife pictured is a slightly smaller lighter version with a 3 1/2 inch blade of Infinity Damasteel of 1/8th inch thick stock. Back handle slab is Ti framelock and front slab is green Micarta. Thumb stud is hand carved Ti with a hidden screw kind of like I do my clips, and it will get one of those tomorrow. What do you think of the overall design, should I make more or is it a dudddd?
Thanks!
Matt

Flippin' sweet design  love the blade to handle ratio and lines, my input is thumb stud could be slimmed down some, kinda overpowers the look of the whole set up
just my 2 cents
BTW where did you get your handle material?

Thanks, material from Blade show last year. One of the big knife parts suppliers. Not too hard to find in this color.

I really like the shape of it! The thumb stud looks good when the blade is closed, but it looks too large when opened. Please send it to me right away to prove me wrong.:-D

Blade grindage is awesome. . . . .as usual. When you said "green Micarta," my first reaction was http://jerzeedevil.com/forums/images/smilies/faintthud.gif, but after seeing it http://jerzeedevil.com/forums/images/smilies/clap.gif . Very interesting and unusual shading ! The thumb stud is cool, but its size overpowers the knife.
Looks like you have a winner, Matt ! http://jerzeedevil.com/forums/images/smilies/023.gif

The first thing you notice is the thumb stud. Sort of over kill. It takes away from the knife.

I love the knife design, great!!! The micarta handle and damasteel blade go well together-I agree with the majority about the thumd stud though-a little large..all in all a beauty!

Looks good! I would like a slimmer thumbstud too. Damascus blades look great! :-D
