I picked up a Strider SnG with a Lifter's leather sheath awhile back, but it appears to be an older model that has a big metal belt clip and requires the removal of the pocket clip to use. The other current models seem to have a little pocket for the clip and a leather belt loop. I personally like the feel of the SnG without the pocket clip :jdsmokin: but was curious if anyone else was in the same boat.

Good question! :devil1:
I've seen Lifters sheaths done both ways, old and new, so I'd wager that he does either by request.
I've done folder sheaths both ways as well, but I do like the look and feel when the clip is removed from the knife.
You can get lifters sheaths in any reasonable configuration you desire. Personally, I get the horizontal right handed cross draw. ie the knife rides on my left hip.
I have seen the pancake type with belt loops on either side of the sheath, a belt loop built into the back of the sheath and the metal clip on the back of the sheath too.
Send him your ideas and he will come up with the version best for you. I will dig up some pics of mine in a couple.

Mayo TMX EDC in a Right Handed Cross Draw Sheath - Dave even put my initials on it for me.

Brings up an interesting point - Lifter has a lot of the knives from Strider etc. If he doesn't, he can 'borrow' them because he is so well connected. Like the TMX, I didn't have to send my knife to him because he had a local friend with this Mayo.
