I have been fixing up allot of my guns lately and I decided to convert my PCR-4 to something for longer range shooting. Originally with the help of Arin I was going to order all the parts and have Arin assemble them for me and send them to me.

However I am an impatient person and the only real difference between the parts I was going to have put together and their fully assembled uppers was the free floating handguard. They didn't offer fluted as an option. So I decided to just buy the complete upper and have it sent directly to me and cut out the middle man (Thanks for the offer though Arin!!!)

Well I thought why not give them a call and after speaking to a guy at Model 1 Sales, he added a fluted handguard to the upper I was getting. So I ending up getting exactly what I wanted which rocks!!!!!

It's out for delivery as we speak and should be arriving within the next 3 hours or so. I also picked up a new grip for it as well. So I will post before and after pictures tonight or tomorrow at the latest but my scope for it wouldn't be here till next week. I like my Bushnell 4200 Elite on my 10/22 model SO much I decided to get the same model for this only with a 8x32 instead of the 6x24 my 10/22 has.

I am currently a happy man

That looks great. I like the fluted barrel. Did it add much weight?

It did add alittle extra weight to it as the barrel itself is allot thicker. And the handguard was plastic and is not longer. I am not sure of exact weight it added. I will have to throw it on the scale once fully outfitted to see the final stats.. It will be mainly a bench gun with possibly taking some stuff out here and there :-D

Nice looking setup. It makes me sorry I traded my HBAR Elite all those years ago http://jerzeedevil.com/forums/images/smilies/089.gif

You should have a little more barrel sticking out past the end of the scope on this one though. Looking forward to the range reports now.
