I bet the Sebenza will hold up better. Built like a fuckin tank. I have carried one everyday for --------- a while with no noticable wear.

That Mayo is sweet! The Sebenza is a classic, of course, but I really dig that Mayo. Then again, the Mayo is $550 ... what's a Sebenza go for these days, like $350ish? Get the Mayo if your wallet feels fat, get the Sebenza otherwise.

I found a serial numbered TMX number 9 of 10, the first 10 made were serial numbered and are not midtech like the the rest of the TMX's, for $850. not bad at all the last one that sold went for $950.

The scales are more rounded on the TMX and rests more comfortably in the hand, than the Sebbie. Also, the other advantage is that the TMX slab edges are contoured, where as the Sebbie slab edges are pretty much flat.

The action on both knives are so damn buttery smooth ! Mayo, among other things, is the king of buttery smooth blade action !

That price was direct from Mayo, right? Gosh, I want a real Mayo SOOOO BAD!! I can't decide though - TNT or Dr. Death...I love the TMX, but I would have to redesign the profile of the insert....
