Night Terrors Symptoms: Sudden awakening from sleep, persistent fear or terror that occurs at night, screaming, sweating, confusion, rapid heart rate, inability to explain what happened, usually no recall of "bad dreams" or nightmares, may have a vague sense of frightening images. Many people see spiders, snakes, animals or people in the room, are unable to fully awake, difficult to comfort, with no memory of the event on awakening the next day.
...Breathing rapidly they will sit up in bed with a wide eyed terror filled stare. This panic will often last anywhere from five to twenty minutes. I find the most amazing aspect of night terrors is that it generates a heart rate of 160 to 170 beats per minute. This is much faster than the normal heart rate that can be attained under most stressful circumstances.
And was just just how I started my morning. So lay off! http://jerzeedevil.com/forums/images/smilies/064.gif

anyone responsible for my night terror... that shit fucks you up.... I am so afraid to go to bed and have it happen again.
You know in the new Batman movie, how when they gas the people, they all trip out? That was the night terror. I woke up screaming, and for like 15 minutes my heart raced, my body trembled, I was so scared I was on the brink of throwing up, and I couldn't shake the scary images of a swarm of bugs above my head.
All I could do was just close my eyes and lay there until I stopped shaking and fell back asleep. You literally are scared stiff. I couldn't muster up any strength to get up or get out. Seriously, look it up, Night Terror is scary shit. The descriptions don't give the experience justice.
I don't want to go to bed. http://jerzeedevil.com/forums/images/smilies/087.gif

Well this is why I love being apathetic, I simply don't care about much and plus if you learn to turn your emotions off it really doesn't matter what goes on in your dreams because it doesn't matter, good or bad.

My wife used to have Night Terrors once in a while...they do suck....she would spring up and just be screaming (still asleep) and scare the shit out of me, and it would take a good 5 minutes sometimes to wake her up out of it and back into reality, and then I would have to hold her and talk her "down" to calm her down and make her feel safe and secure enough to go back to sleep. She hardly ever gets them any more, and if she does they are not nearly as bad as they used to be.
