This knife is hands down my best yet!!

Blade: ATS-34 .160" Thick

Handles: 304 SS

Spacers: ATS-34 Hardened

Latch: ATS-34

Cutting edge of 3.75" with 4" blade.OAL is just a hair under 9". After a priceless tip from Charles Marlowe i've now found a much better way to countersink this steel..,i just might be able to afford to make more :) i used a very steep countersink which reduced the weight drastically.Knife weighs around 5.5 oz,about the same as the tiny one i made and (imo) the perfect weight. Also has IKBS and flips smooth with zero blade play!im gonna have a hard time parting with this one...,good thing i made two.other should be finished shortly.and goes to one of my forum pals who's been waiting forever for a bowie :)

I plan to make this a regular model, with different blade profiles.if theres interest.i perasonally really like this bowie though.

Thanks everyone!!

Stabber: funny you say that! i never have a "set design". i literally make 'em as i go,blade wise.handles require some design but the blades are freestyle everytime :)

I can't recall ever seeing a blade profile/grind like that. It is absolutely brilliant! Then again, I've been awed by every one I've seen from you. Even cooler that you didn't plan it!

Regards,

Dave
