sheathmaker

I just answered a question on another forum and thought maybe this may come as news to some of you.
When the occasion to put initials on a sheath or other leather item arises and you would like to give them some color, consider doing the color work with a "Sharpie" fine point felt tip (not the Ultra Fine) permanent maker available at your friendly Wal Mart or other office supply source. It is very easy to control and the color is just as fast as any dye I know of plus no brushes or spills to contend with. Let it dry well and then finish as usual.
