A couple of weeks ago, at the Janesville, Wisconsin knife show, some scumbag stole a knife off my table. The knife was in a display case, so they had to be pretty bold and reach around to get the knife. I would've posted this much earlier, but It took me this long to find a picture of the knife, and this one isn't very good, I'm afraid. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif
The knife that was stolen is the Eric Barnes damascus hunter, second from the bottom in the center of this crappy picture. Handle is very nicely figured flame maple, and the blade is deeply etched ladder damascus with a stainless single guard. I'd call this a large hunter, as it has at least a 4" blade and an equally long handle that felt very good in my big hand. The knife weighs very little. For size comparison, that is a 10" bladed John Fitch camp knife directly below it in the picture. Stylewise, the knife looks very much like one of Jim Crowell's hunters, as Mr. Crowell taught this man how to make knives.
