............from our very on Bart1. This is my FIRST bit of business with Mr. Bart, but will not be my last! Great guy to talk with, and just as good to deal with. OK, now before I get all mushy and break into tears......... I have been looking for another OTF DA ever since I gave my, then brand new, MT Scarab to my son. Can't complain as he has carried it daily for the past year and used about every day. Told me that it was the best knife he had ever gotten. Easy to use and sharp as hell. In fact he has had no, nada, ZERO misfires since he got it. Speaks pretty well for it I think. Anyway I wanted one myself to carry and use and the UT-II caught my eye as a nice one.....it'll be my "Sunday Go To Church" knife also. Who all has one of these that can tell me about them? Here's a pic, courtesy of the Bright Edge.

I've bought seven knives from bart-1, you can't go wrong dealing with him. Nice knife Art.

About all I can add is that yours is v.2, the initial UT-II's had flat 'steps' and then the second version added the insets inside the steps.
V.1 shown below:

Well it arrived a few hours ago and to tell the truth I was a little bit BLOWN AWAY!! This is an awesome piece. Showed it to my son and he is ready to trade me his Scarab for my UT-II.........but no go. It is thick enough to get a good grip and still slim enough to carry and forget about it. I weighed it and came up with 4.5 ounces which is weighty enough to give a solid feel to it. As far as the action, it is fast and sure. Already cycled it about 50 to 60 times and no hangups. Blade is sharp as a razor, but I've come to expect that from MT. Stiff button, but it is made that way and is actually no problem for me, although the wifey has a bit of problem activating it!! There is only a slight wobble in the blade and just enough to ensure 100% function if dirt or trash finds its way into the action. Normally I'm anal as hell about blade wobble but have read enough DA- OTF threads to know that it is enherent to the design and nothing to worry about. As I read somewhere "when you use the knife you never feel any blade wobble"
So, THANKS a bunch Robert aka Bart-1, aka Bartone, for a great deal and a great auto.

Nice blade Art. Most like the regular handled UT6. I like the UT6II just as much. You definatly get a better grip on that sucker!

Yeah I really like it. I've been carrying it as a third knife along with my AR and Case slipjoint. I've carried it in my shirt pocket. I normally wear t-shirts to school since I'm in the P.E. Dept. and t's are the way to go. So I naturally wear them off of work also. Most of my shirts have a breast pocket that I use to carry a pen in. So I decided a few days ago to clip my UT II in the pocket for the heck of it and it has been there ever since and has not garnered a single "what is that?" I guess everyone just thinks I have a mighty wide pen!!
This knife cuts like there is no tomorrow!
