I've got some CDs on my Dell IPOD-like thingy from the music passaround from the OFF I seem to listen to most often. Geoge Thoroughgood sounds pretty good too. Maybe I need to download...err..buy some of his shit. David Allen Coe ain't a bad choice either. ;-)

I don't get concerned about the music. . . .as long as the titty shaker is movin', groovin' and makin' me sigh. http://jerzeedevil.com/forums/images/smilies/077.gif

ACDC with Bon Scott (If You Want Blood You've Got It)
Little Feat with Lowell George (Waiting for Columbus)
Led Zeppelin (The Song Remains the Same)

If I'm really partying, nothing beats the good old Grateful Dead. I've got about 600 cassettes and 500 DATs of Dead shows to choose from, so it's hard to pick a favorite!

Skynard & Pink Floyd if I am feeling mellow.. Godsmack, Incubus, Stained or A Perfect Circle if I am a little more pumped..

Old school country seems to be made for drinking. :smoker: Hank, Willy Jonny Cash, etc. Godsmack makes me wanna use my Northwind on my Cave Troll neighboor.

If I was to drink, I would enjoy listening to the music while watching it on DVD. I would choose the Arsenal of Megadeth and Motorhead: Stage Fright. :notguilt: :lemmy:

Somethin' simple like a duet from Celine Dion & George Thorogood would have me toe-tappin' when I'm drinkin'! :roflmao:

Most people think I'm drunk already when they meet me, but the truth is I hardly ever drink. I don't even use drugs anymore (except to be neighborly.) I don't need anything to get high. I got so high back in the '60's I'm still high.

At least that's the polite explanation ...

Serious music time is when I start painting each morning. I need a shot of adrenaline to "start me up" so I begin with something like Twilight Zone (Golden Necklace)

"It's 2 A.M. the fear has gone
I'm sitting here waiting the gun still warm
Maybe my connection is tired of taking chances
[ --- ]:guitar:
Where am I to go now that I've gone too far
So you'll come to know
When the bullet hits the bone

:jimi:Then maybe Stones "Saint of Me"

"And I do believe in miracles
And I want to save my soul
And I know that I'm a sinner
I'm gonna die here in the cold ..."

and then classic Rock-My-Soul ...
:guitar:.. Doors, Little Feat, Dylan, Floyd, Janis, etc...

Later in the day I might listen to anything, including this guy: http://www.andreasschollsociety.org/
Who also has a punk group - You won't believe this is a man's voice ..

I've matured quite a bit in the last 4 years... I prefer to listen to the intelligent babble that goes on while I'm drinking nowadays rather than musik. :bwah:
