This is the one I mentioned yesterday in my Blade show/broke post. It came today and boy howdy is it a doozy! It is a hefty knife weighing in around 7.5 ounces( just guessing but will weigh later). The whole thing is overbuilt. The liners are .088" thick and they lock up the blade like that proverbial vault. The titanium bolsters are .125" thick and the whole blade tang area is surrounded by thick metal. The handles are also .125" thick and are green canvas micarta. The fit and finish is excellent with no gaps anywhere. The full length titanium spacer is groved at the rear to allow a godd hand purchase and the whole handle fits well in forward or reverse grip. It is set up for tip up carry and I was a bit worried that it would allow too much knife to stick out of my pocket, I really like a deep seated knife, but the way the handle tapers down at the rear allows only a small bit of the handle to poke out. The blade is S30V and pops the hair. It is a flat ground blade and should be a helluva' slicer. The only thing I would have liked to have seen would be a thicker blade. The standard blade is .125" thick but I would like to see it around .160", of course the .125 is going to be strong enough for anything I'm going to use it for and that .125" thickness is what will make it such a great slicer.

Me HAPPY!!!
