I've got one knife all ready to go (will be posting pics in a bit), just finished another (that you'll be able to buy raffle tickets for at the meeting, it's a donation to my blacksmith guild), one more that just needs a sheath, and I have JBWeld setting in a guard for another that I hope to get done today or tomorrow.

Quit pickin' on the little guy! I claim responsibility! The picture of Mr. Labella's knives didn't turn out and I stood there admiring & handling the JD blade and completely forgot to snap a pix! Hopefully a pix of that blade will turn up... it is awesome!
It was a great day at Tarantella's... great weather, great people, great knives! Real good to see cutty (yes... he does exist), the GOV (she is lookin' fine) and Spufnik (he looked tired but doing good). I picked up one of 'Butch' Harner's sweet neck knives, ordered a future knife from Deker and double checked with J. that he has my order for 3 future blades. It don't get much better than this!

It was great to see and talk to everyone aagain, and meet a few new people. The JD mosaic damascus was very cool. Deker must be thinking about mosaics 24 hours a day, can't wait to see what he's doing when he gets some free time. Butch is just plain insane with the push dagger and 2" hollow grind razors. J.'s stuff was great as always, but the mosaic bowie blew me away. It was amazingly light in my hands.
Lots of good stuff on all the tables, these get togethers are going to be bigger than some of shows soon.:madaddy:

I have to blame the camera, my glasses and the photo editing software... it surely couldn't be me! Every one of my pictures had to be 'lightened' and the 'contrast' fooled with.

Ron Newton called and wants to discuss some problems w/ the blade w/ J. :cadi:
You guys have too much fun.
I learned a bit about critiquing myself this weekend you know....Not Ron Newton style, but J. and Butch sat around drinking beer and making fun of me until I managed to fix some issues I was having with a knife.... :)
