A few months ago Sandy made a holster for my Ruger Blackhawk. Sandy uses distinctive orange wrapping paper for his packages; I spotted in my mailbox from 1-1/2 blocks away today! He finished the gun belt for me and I want to share it with you. Since I am rather large in girth, I have to show it to you a piece at a time. Sandy is an excellent craftsman - and wonderful friend - even if he was a pilot in the Navy; at least he was enlisted!

Belt tip end, nice Concho Sandy!

Coiled up.

Sandy hand stippled the leather; I just am overwhelmed whenever I get a package from him........

NICE!!! I sent him an order for a holster and he never responded. I am guessing he doesn't check his PMs here. Do you have an e-mail address for him?

Badguy---sorry, my friend, but I did respond to your request and gave you my phone number and address. 706-379-1621. Call and we can discuss what you want in a holster. I have about a 6 week backlog at the moment, but call anyhow and we can get acquainted!! Sandy

Sandy is one of my heroes. If my life had taken a different path, I would have been Sandy's apprentice instead of going to some poxy university.

I've chatted with Sandy a couple times on Bruce's chat room and he is truly a gent of fine caliber, and his work always impresses and inspires. One of these days I'll try to afford something from him :bwah:

Very nice leather work, I just joined a gun club with a cowboy action shooting venue and after seeing this, I may have to check it out a little more. Too bad the days are gone when you could just walk down the street with a six gun on your side and not get harrassed about it. Colorado still has a open carry law, but I would imagine walking around downtown Denver with that on your side would lead to a stern talking to from the local PD, and maybe a disturbing the peace fine. Of course throw a duster over it, and CCW is no problem. :langston:
