Hey Gang,

I did have time to find some of my Kukris.

Here are the ones I have found so far.

That is 23. I know I have some more and I'll eventually dig them out.

These have been put away since I moved here from Illinois and need a little TLC.( 8 years ago)

I'm going to take them to the plant on Monday and give them the once over.

Some of these are the tourist class but there are some real winners and some that are very rare. (Like the one 5th from the top--center) I do have the sheaths for most of them.

If any of you have some Kukris I would love to see them on this thread.

Is the 5th one from top a bayonet?

Some really older and nice looking khukuris there Mike.:-D Khuks seem to be my favorite larger blade. At least for the past 25 years or so. I have to take some pictures of my khuks now that summer is coming and I can bring them outside to take shots of. I had lots of photos, but took them all out of the computer to make more room.:idunno: Now I have no photos to show. Keep posting your khukuri pics. Mike!! I love seeing them. I don't see one of your old Reinhart/Blackjack combat khukuris there though. I love those. That was my second khukuri ever, after an old Atlanta Cutlery khuk. (Still have it). Those were my starting days, before I found the internet. Now finding khuks is too easy, as my bank account will attest to.

Lone Wolf,

Yes. the 5th from the top is a bayonet for the martini-henry service rifle. That Kukri is one of only a handful that have survived. It is very rare and It was never issued because it was a very stupid Idea.

Archangel,

I do have a BJK Reinhardt Kukri too. I didn't include it in the picture because it is at the plant and these are at home. I'll be taking all of these and the 24th one that I found this morning to the plant and cleaning them up. I'll take better pictures of some of them after I give them a little TLC.
