Hey Gang,

I would first like to thank all of you that requested this project.

I have never considered myself an industry powerhouse or anyone special in the industry. I am Flattered that so many of you wanted me to make a " Mike 01 " Knife.

This Knife is very special to me. I like knives that are Guardless and heavily built for Field Use. the Full size Montana is my personal Favorite of our large knives and a lot of knife for Medium game.

The Mini- Montana Guide is my interpretation of the right size for most hunting situations. It is about a 2/3rd scale version and is easy to pack and carry.

I gave this project a lot of thought and realized that a lot of these Custom knives will be collected and some will actualy be used.

My choice of materials and construction was based on both of these considerations.

I know that a lot of you would think that I woulod have chosen A-2 for this project but I chose 12C27 at 58+ Rockwell.

I have had Sterling results with it when it is Heat Treated to my Specs and there is enough blade mass to actually get Perfect Geometry. These will Suprise you and they will cut like lasers and still be easy to touch up the edge.

Here is a Group shot of the knives.

Each one of the Mini-Montana Guides has a Special " Blade Mark " on the right facing of the Blade.

They are all sold to the dealers and are on the way. You can order these from any of our dealers.

Thanks again,

Ok, I finally found one for myself!:devil1: Let's see how she looks and feels in hand when she gets here from Derrick/KSF in a few days:decisions Took me a few weeks of pondering this one....afraid it's going to displace my current BRKTs, at least for the larger ones....

Hi Mike

I posted instead of PM because other Canadians may want to know too.

Who are your dealers in Canada? I searched your website but came up empty.

Thanks

Richard

Unfortunately I really don't think we have any dealers in Canada.

Most of the U.S. dealers ship to Canada but we have yet to find a dealer on your side of the Border.

Ok, I got my Mini Montana Guide a few days ago:devilzeek

First, Derrick at KSF shipped it so fast, 3 day turnaround:devilzeek; that it was here in record time.

Second, THIS is my personal Grail Knife from BRKT:decisions No shit, a lifetime of searching just ended...ok, 35 YEARS! Thank you Mike for crafting this knife; it fits the hand very naturally with the scale design. THIS knife is now my benchmark for any knife.

PLEASE make another series of this knife in A2 and/or 52100, so I can keep collecting them!!
