Termites SUCK! :atyou:
For the past 10 years I've been fighting a WAR with the little bastards, and it looks like they won the lattest battle, they're back in my garage!
10 years ago when they first showed up, I called the exterminator, and they installed the "Barrier" system. That's where they drill holes every couple of feet around the house, both outside, AND inside, and pump in poison, so the termites can't GET to the house. Every couple of years, they come back and pump in more poison.
That SEEMED to be working, until 2 years ago, when I noticed the FUCKERS had been attacking my fence!!! Called the exterminator again , and this time they installed the "Sentracom" system. With that system, they put bait traps every few feet around the house, when they get a "hit", they put in poison that will KILL the entire nest. (yeah RIGHT!)
Friday morning, I saw the bastards swarming out from my garage door! Exterminator came out yesterday, and found they were eating the frame around the door. :dammit: He packs the damaged area with poison, and puts this 10x8x2" container filled with poison over it, and DUCT TAPES it to the house. It is a fuckin' EYESORE!!!! When you come up to my house, it looks like someone taped a bomb to the place!!!!
If all that isn't bad enough , this WAR has been costing me a FORTUNE!
Barrier system= $900 plus $125 per year
Sentracom system= $2000 plus $225 per year
I'm also going to have to replace 100' of fence, and whatever damage they're doing to the house!!!
